"We are so looking forward to the co-op being one of our "downtown neighbors". Working with LOCAL farmers and food producers is important to us. Having locally grown, unprocessed, organic foods available benefits; both the economy of a community, by recirculating the income, and of course, our health by having us avoid chemical- ridden alternatives. Co-ops are member-owned and member controlled.(people, not capital, control the co-op) In other words one-member/one-vote, not one-vote-per-share!
