The Clipper City Cooperative (CCC) will be a community owned and operated cooperative grocery story, whose aim is to provide quality, wholesome food and goods at the lowest practical cost. We strive to make Co-op ownership welcoming and accessible to all residents of our diverse community and the surrounding areas.

The products CCC will carry, as well as our business practices, reflect the values and needs of our owner-members with a specific emphasis placed on building community, promoting social and economic well-being, and acting in an environmentally sensitive manner, whenever possible.

The seed has been planted. Help it grow.

Without owner-members, Clipper City Co-op is simply a good idea. Your ownership equity shares are vital to providing funding, labor, leadership and guidance to reach our goals.

Clipper City Co-op's next goal is 225 owner-members by September 2016.

What does Ownership require?

 

• Application for ownship share shall be made in writing on a form (provided in the link above) for this purpose, and shall be acted upon promptly by the Clipper City Co-op Steering Committee, which shall exercise full discretion in the interests of the Cooperative.

• The application shall include a subscription for one share of owner-member stock per household, or per business and such additional stock as the Board of Directors may from time to time determine as necessary.

Equity Owner-Membership shares are $200 per adult (aged 18 years or older). This is a one time stock ownership purchase, as authorized under Wisconsin Statute 193 Cooperative Association ownership share.  Every adult member in the household shares in the benefits of the Co-op, with one share one vote per household, regardless of the number of shares purchased, or investment in Clipper City Co-op.
