Want to serve your community in a powerful way?

Want to help set the future of your co-op?

Here's your chance!

We need YOU to run for the Clipper City Co-op board of directors this fall.

A co-op is a democratically-owned business. We, as owners, elect our board of directors to represent our vision for the co-op and provide the critical oversight needed to make it strong.

Who serves on the board?

Any owner of Clipper City Co-op who chooses to run for the board of directors and gets the votes needed from their fellow owners to be seated on the board.

When is the board election?

The owners of Clipper City Co-op will elect our first board of directors at the first annual meeting of the owner-members, on November 5th, 2016.

Wait, so we don’t have a board now?

Not yet! What we have is a self-appointed steering committee that has agreed to do the heavy work of getting our co-op started. Some who currently serve on the steering committee will run for the board this fall to continue their service, but some also will not.

I’m interested in learning more about running for the board, how do I learn more?
